KidsPLAY is the Eliot Recreation Department’s before and after school program for children in grades K-5. Activities include arts & crafts, sports, games, and homework time. This course is designed for young people to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care to infants and children in a residential setting. In this class you'll learn basic child care and basic first aid. At the end of the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion for the CABS program, as well as a CPR and AED certification that is good for two years! KidsPLAY is the Eliot Recreation Department’s before and after school program for children in grades K-5. Activities include arts & crafts, sports, games, and homework time. Transportation will be provided from the Marshwood Great Works School for participants that are in grades 4 and 5.2025/2026 School Year Daily Rates:$12 per day Before School Only (M-F)$27 per day After School Only (M,T, W, F)$34 per day Before & After School Combo (M, T, W, F)$37 per day THURSDAY After School Care$44 per day Thursday Before & After Care Combo KidsPLAY Hours of Operation:Before Care M-F 7:00am-start of schoolGreat Works kids will need to be dropped off at KidsPLAY prior to the departure time of the bus to MGWS.After Care: M,T, W, Th: end of school day until 4:30 (Starting 10/1 until 5:30) Fridays end of day until 4:302025/2026 Things to Remember:-$5 discount applied for days your child attends BOTH before & after care- KidsPLAY is closed on all State of Maine holidays and when indicated on monthly calendars- If there is no school due to inclement weather, or any other unforeseen reason, KidsPLAY will also be closed. -You are required to pay for the days that you are registered for, even if your child does not attend that day (i.e. your child is sick)-You are financially committed to the days/ times marked on your calendar once calendars have been processed. -Any changes for the upcoming month must be indicated on the monthly calendar and returned to the Eliot Recreation Department Administrative Assistant by the 20th of the month for the upcoming month. - We kindly ask that you are in a paid ahead status.
