NOTICE FOR OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL FACILITY USE
The Recreation Department is responsible for rentals at Dixon Road Recreation Area, Boat Basin, Frost Tufts Park, and William Murray-Rowe Park. However, all park maintenance related business should be referred to Public Works at (207) 439-2661.
 
The Board of Selectmen, in order to protect and maximize the use of the Town’s recreational facilities, has adopted policies and procedures for the operation of these facilities. Copies of these policies and procedures are available at the Recreation Department.
 
Effective April 1, 2012 the Town of Eliot has adopted a “Carry-In, Carry-Out” policy for waste management at the fields and parks in Eliot. Trash & recycling barrels are no longer provided at the Town of Eliot’s Facilities; therefore visitors, spectators, and all who use the Recreational Facilities will be asked to carry- out their waste, and dispose of it in a proper manner, or to recycle it when applicable.
 
Reservations for the private use of the pavilion at the Boat Basin and Frost Tufts Park are made at the Recreation Department. Fees are collected seven days per week from May 1st to the Sunday of Columbus Weekend. Reservations must be made in advance. Phone reservations are no longer accepted. We will hold a date request for 24 hours only. 

Pavilion reservations are also required for Day Camps (summer, private, etc). Please contact the Rec Director for more information.  

Reservation fees are due within 48 hours after reservation has been accepted. If no fee is collected the reservation is cancelled. 

The Boat Basin pavilion has a water spigot to the right of the pavilion and there are electrical outlets in 3 of the 4 corners within the pavilion. Bounce Houses are permitted with permission from the Rec Director. 

 
Launch Fees are the responsibility of the Police Department and Harbor Master. A Community Service Officer collects launch fees throughout the week and/or you may drop off payment via the drop box located just past the shed on the left. At no time may disabled boats, vehicles, equipment, or any other means block access to the ramp. For more information please contact William Dries, Harbormaster, at (207) 439-1179.
 
Reservations for league or private use of the athletic fields and courts are made at the Recreation Department. Reservations are taken for the current calendar year only. The public will still have free access to the fields and courts if they have not been reserved. Please note that the Department will not rent out the tennis courts or basketball courts to the extent that the public does not have free daily access.

Fee Schedule
Pavilion Rentals
The Recreation Department accepts reservations for the pavilions at the Boat Basin and at Frost Tufts Park. Reservations are accepted from May 1st through the second weekend in October. Reservations can be made up to 1 year in advance from the date you are requesting. We no longer issue refunds for rain date rentals.
 
Reservation requests can be done online. You would need to create an account for this. You will be contacting within 24 hours of request. We do not accept over the phone reservations.

There is not a lot of parking for large groups of 75 guests or more. You will need to make alternative parking arrangements. 

If your desired rental time is in between the morning & afternoon time blocks you will need to do a full day reservation. Ex: Your party is from 12pm-4pm, please select the 9am-8pm option when booking.  

Please note: your rental time also includes your set up and break down time (Ex: if your rental begins at 9am or 3pm, you cannot begin set up earlier then those times).

Non-Residents: $150.00/Full Day; $75.00 Half-Day
 
Frost Tufts
Residents:  $50.00/Full Day; $35.00 Half-Day
Non-Residents: $100.00/Full Day; $50.00 Half-Day

Businesses/Corporations
$175.00 Flat Rate/Full Day-Boat Basin Only
